Parents Listen and Chat

This is a workshop that gives parents the opportunity to learn about listening and spoken language development at a time when they can focus on the content and new information being shared outside of a busy Early Intervention or LSL session. Parents will learn to use effective strategies to enhance their child’s listening, literacy, play and overall language skills. This program is available to all parents of children with hearing loss.

Wednesday, June 4th will be our Summer Planning Workshop for parents (professionals may also attend). The workshop will be a scheduled Zoom meeting from 7:00 to 8 pm, MDT. The workshop theme is Building Language Through Summer Fun. Join us to make this a listening and language filled summer for your family!

  • Create a plan to boost language in everyday activities
  • Review effective strategies
  • Receive planning tools

If you would like to attend, please complete the RSVP form below. When you click on submit, a confirmation message will appear below. An email with a link to join the Zoom meeting will be sent on the day of the workshop. If you have questions, contact Nanette Thompson at nanette@listening2learn.com for more information.

There have been many times when she has announced how thankful she is that she can hear and speak. She truly appreciates the gift.
