Scholarship applications for the 2024 camp sessions open October 23, 2023 and are due November 19, 2023.

Financial assistance, in the form of partial “camp scholarships”, is available for families who can not otherwise afford to attend camp.  Family members eligible to attend include the child(ren) who uses a cochlear implant age 3-18, along with the parents/legal guardians and siblings up to 18 years of age.  Rooms are limited to 5 family members, regardless of age.  (No cousins, grandparents, nor siblings older than high school.)

The process to apply for and receive financial aid reservations is a separate process from the typical room reservation system. To be considered please request an application from the Listen CI Camp at Camp@listenfoundation.org

Camp sessions are based on the age of the child(ren) who uses a cochlear implant:

• June 27-30, 2024 CI Recipients Entering 5th Grade – 2024 High School Graduates
• July 25-28, 2024 CI Recipients Age 3 – Entering 4th Grade

The Camp Scholarship Application allows you to indicate the age-appropriate camp for your CI child and will require proof of financial need (e.g. participation in Free & Reduced lunch programs, Medicaid insurance coverage, Listen Foundation or other therapy funding, etc.).  References are also requested.  Scholarship applications are due November 19, 2023. A scholarship committee will review applications and choose award recipients. Selected families will then secure the registration set aside for them by making the agreed upon deposit.

Award dollars and number of families chosen varies from year to year as fundraising allows. Our intention is to welcome new families as well as returning families and to make unique selections each year.

Any available scholarship dollars that are unfulfilled can be applied for on a rolling basis.
