What's Been Happening at Listen Foundation
Listen is Front Page News!
Listen is on the front page of the south Denver local newspaper The Villager this week. Reporter Gary Massaro spent time at the Listen office with Executive Director Pat Greenway and therapist Nancy Caleffe-Schenck and reported his visit in this wonderful article. Thanks Gary for the time you spent with us, the great photo, and the stimulating piece on what we do at Listen:

Winnie Moss - Listen Hero!
Did you hear about our star volunteer Winnie Moss - she's a 9News Hero! See for yourself:
Here's some goings-on at the Listen Foundation from 2009:
Cannibal Run

We came, We ran, We won!
When we heard that Littleton Rotary Clubs were putting on an event to benefit local non-profits, Listen listened! Executive Director Pat Greenway and most of the Listen board took part in the 3rd Alferd Packer Cannibal Run and Tribute to Giving last Sunday (August 16th) and raised more money than any other local non-profit! In fact, we had the top team and the top fundraiser (see here).
So a HUGE thanks from Listen to the Littleton Rotary for putting on this wonderful event, a very fun way for local charities to raise thousands of dollars for their organizations.
It's not too late to support our runners - and of course our Listen families - by sponsoring them! All you need to do is click here, and choose which worthy participant you want to sponsor. Thanks for Listening!
40 Years of Listen Bash:
Lannie's a big hit!
40 Years of Listen Bash:Lannie's a big hit!

Lannie Garrett was the big star at the 40 Years of Listen celebration at the Infiniti Event Center. And she and her 6 piece band put on a sparkling show that everyone enjoyed- including guest MC Bertha Lynn of 7News, who afterwards said she "loved it"! Click here for more pictures of the event!
The celebration was the gala fundraising event of the year for Listen and brought together Listen families both current and past as well as teachers, therapists, members of the South Denver Chamber of Commerce, Sertomas, and lots of long-time Listen supporters!
We would love to get your thoughts on the evening. Please click here to add your personal comment on the evening. We'll be waiting to listen to what you have to say!
