How I Can Help

Listen Foundation's mission is to raise money to provide programs for families with children who are deaf, whose goal is to have those kids listening and talking!  This money is used primarily to fund Listening and Spoken Language therapy provided by our network of fabulous therapists!  So, of course, you can always help us by supporting our fund-raising campaigns - for example the Colorado Gives Day

But there are many other ways in which you can help us help families realize their dreams for their deaf children:

Join our Board of Directors Listen is lucky to have a strong board of dedicated volunteers, but there always openings, particularly if you have marketing or public relations skills, or you just feel you could help with fundraising, newsletter preparation, grant writing, event organization, or any of the 1001 tasks that face an organization like Listen!

Volunteer You don't have to be on the Board to help us at Listen. If you would like to roll up your sleeves, please call us. We will match your strengths with the tasks at hand

Talk Us Up We understand - time and money are tight right now. But you can help spread the word! Let people know about Listen whenever and wherever you can. You never know when someone you talk to might need us, or know someone who would. It's free and easy, and information about us is easy to come by - right here at

Thank You for Listening!

2. Seeking the best available sources of medical treatment and technological amplification of sound for the child who is deaf or hard of hearing as early as possible.

3. Helping the child understand the meaning of any sounds heard, including spoken language, and teaching the child's parents how to make sound meaningful to the child all day long.
