Since 1969, the listen foundation has been dedicated to teaching children who are hearing-impaired to listen and speak. The listen foundation has supported families who would not otherwise have access to the equipment and the auditory-verbal therapy that their children need in order to become listening, speaking adults enabling them to reach their full potential as productive members of society.

Many many thanks to the

for hosting such a magnificent

event for us. The food, from the bang-bang shrimp, salmon and steak to the creme-brulee desert, and the superb chardonay and zinfandel made this a gourmet afternoon to remember. And our broad spread of silent auction items kept us all busy bidding!

Thank you to all who made this such a fabulous fundraising event for Listen

Recent years have seen great advances in hearing aids and cochlear implants that enhance the child's useable hearing. With this foundation, our therapists can work with children and their families to produce miraculous results: children like the ones on this page, who can listen and speak and connect with the hearing world around them. These children will go on to learn in regular school classrooms, have hearing friends, and do everything ordinary kids do.

We have joined forces with independent therapists in the community to develop a model for hearing health in the 21st century and build a bright future for hearing-impaired kids. We hope you’ll join us in helping them!

Amy Pogrebin is one of listen’s graduates. She exemplifies the extraordinary potential that the hearing impaired can achieve.  You can read Amy’s story here (read Amy’s story)

A Message from Mr. Mitchell Right...

Dear Friends

This year I am honored to have been chosen as the Chairman for the 13th Annual Non-Event Fundraiser.  I am inviting you to join me for this very special...non-occasion - an opportunity to give without leaving the comfort of you own home.

For as little as $100, a child can begin to learn to hear different sounds and start speaking words. An entire year of therapy is just $5,000.  You can join me by making a donation to Listen - just click right here.  Or by a pledge of support right here. Any amount, however large or small, helps a child along the road to listening and speaking.

I am proud to support the work of the Listen Foundation. Please accept my heartfelt thank you for your generosity in giving these children the gift of spoken language.

Mitchell E. Right
